WHAT ARE THIN LINE HEROES
Our Thin Line Heroes are First Responders, Military Personnel (incl.Veterans), Healthcare Professionals and Other Front Line Workers. They are represented by the seven (7) stripes on this Thin Line US flag which is incorporated into the Eagle Vitality Logo. These “thin line” colors have come to represent the various disciplines of professionals that help others. Although there are other interpretations of what colors represent who, it is all about respect for those professionals:

The Thin Silver (Gray) Line is representative of Corrections Officers. The color Gray was chosen to symbolize the color of handcuffs and/or jail cell bars. The Thin Gray Line is meant to include all agents within the justice system such as, Jailers, Bailiffs and Parole Officers. This is one of the newer Thin Line styles and has gained popularity within the group it represents.

The Thin Gold (also Bright Yellow) Line is representative of Emergency Dispatchers. Although they are not always thought of when referring to first responders, their support to Public Safety and EMS workers is said to be 'truly gold'. Gold is meant to symbolize loyalty and strength. The introduction of the Thin Gold Line flag has helped EMS dispatchers and all they do become more visible within their industry.

The Blue LIne with a White Horizontal Stripe (also seen as a solid white line) is representative of our EMTs, Paramedics, and All Emergency Medical Service personnel. It represents the relentless effort of the men and women that help us in times of emergency & need. The White in the line symbolizes the battle between life and death that occurs on the streets during a medical emergency.

The White Line with a Red Horizontal Stripe is representative of our Doctors and Nurses. The White in the line symbolizes the battle between life and death that occurs during a medical emergency and the red represents courage. It is interesting to note that the same Thin Red Line design originally came about as a description used to refer to an outgunned military unit holding firm against attack.

The Thin Red Line is representative of all the brave Firefighters. Red was chosen because of the color's association with fire. The phrase has evolved into ‘Thin Red Line of Courage’ due to all the Firefighters and their courageousness in the face of danger.

The Thin Blue Line is representative of Police & Law Enforcement Officers. The color blue refers to the colors of their uniforms. 'Thin Blue Line' is a phrase that refers to the line between chaos and order, with Law Enforcement officers being that barrier between. It represents their constant bravery. They risk their lives daily upon the streets of America. The Thin Blue Line is a small token to remind us that the presence of law enforcement is to bring forth peace and diminish hostility and violence.Oftentimes, people also use the flag to remember fallen officers.

More often than not, the Thin Green or Camouflage Line is attributed to the Military -- to show support for the men and women of our military, active, part time and veterans. Solid green is also representative of all Federal Agents including Border Patrol, Fish & Game Wardens and Park Rangers. The color green was chosen as many uniforms for Federal Agents are a shade of green.
